Nació en México, donde obtuvo la Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas con especialidad en Mercadotecnia por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). También tiene una Maestría en Economía de la Universite des Sciences Economiques et Droit de Montpellier en Francia. Trigos también está certificado por la International SME (Sales and Marketing Executives)

For more than 25 years, Federico has dedicated his entire professional career assisting clients in developing and implementing successful government relations and public policy strategies and initiatives. Throughout his career Federico has garnered a keen understanding of the political, legislative, regulatory processes and business environment, as well as developed an influential network of key political and business relationships across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Federico’s career includes leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial firms and non-profit organizations such as Royal Caribbean Group, Global Ports Holding, AARP, Walmart and Advent Morro Equity Partners. Prior to forming Gondens, Federico worked as Vice-President of Royal Caribbean Group for Latin America & the Caribbean where he was involved in managing the Royal’s relationships with governments in Latin America and the Caribbean for over 12 years.

Federico holds a Masters of Laws degree from Tulane University School of Law, a Juris Doctor from Interamerican University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in European history from the University of Puerto Rico and is admitted to practice law at the US Court of International Trade, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the US District Court of Puerto Rico and the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

In addition to his work, Federico has also volunteered his time to trade organizations and non-profit organizations such as the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) among others.

Federico is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Trigos has more than 40 years leading major market research companies in Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. He started his career with ACNielsen in Mexico, later in Canada and finally in Puerto Rico where he was the General Manager.

In Puerto Rico, where Trigos has resided for more than 26 years, the executive was also Marketing and Strategic Planning Director of Wal-Mart, SAM’s and Amigo Supermarkets, Trigos Later he was executive vice-president and general manager of IBOPE / Mediafax.

In America CV Network and  later also with MundoFox  he was the Research Director for markets including Puerto Rico, Miami and New York and Director of Agency New Business Development for CV24, Puerto Rico. Trigos continued his career as a business consultant in the Tourist industry and recently he was the Director of New projects with the research firm Gaither International in Puerto Rico.

En Puerto Rico, donde Trigos ha residido por más de 26 años, el ejecutivo también fue Director de Marketing y Planificación Estratégica de Wal-Mart, SAM’s y Amigo Supermarkets, Trigos Later fue vicepresidente ejecutivo y gerente general de IBOPE / Mediafax.
